• We are a husband and wife team, Jay and Liz, with Liz's years of experience working for the well-respected Johnson's Acres raw milk dairy in the metro Denver area

• Our farm address is 1574 10 Rd, Mack, CO 81525, a rolling 29 acre property with two year-round creeks. We are only two minutes away from the Mack exit of I-70.

Milk Share Summary

• Your cows will live on the open pasture 24/7, with access to water, mineral licks, and shelters, and will be fed non-GMO alfalfa hay and a variety of grass hays.

• We will maintain two parallel testing programs to monitor the raw milk's safety: weekly on-farm lab testing for coliforms and Standard Plate Count using the 3M Petrifilm testing system, and monthly testing at a certified microbiology laboratory that specializes in raw milk testing. If our on-farm lab is down then we will send the milk out monthly for the tests we do on-farm to the raw milk testing labs.

• There are three types of fees associated with our milk share program: the required one-time refundable herd share fee, the required monthly boarding fee, and the monthly delivery fee.

  • One-time herd share fee: $50. This fee comes with the bill of sale of the share, and it is refundable if you ever withdraw as a shareholder.

  • Monthly boarding fee for one share: $50. This fee comes with the boarding contract. One share entitles you to one gallon of milk from the herd per week. So a half share is $25, two shares are $100, etc. Roughly, this pricing structure works out to $12.50 per gallon of milk.

  • Free self pick-up at our farm at 1574 10 Rd, Mack, CO 81525

  • We deliver to the Grand Valley, the Front Range, and anywhere in between along I-70 for an additional delivery fee

    • For a monthly $5 flat fee, we can deliver to central drop-off locations for our shareholders in the Grand Valley area. Currently we have three drop-off locations in the valley:

      • Downtown Fruita

      • Downtown Grand Junction

      • Palisade/Clifton

    • For a monthly $20 fee per half share, we can deliver to central drop-off locations for our shareholders in the metro Denver/Boulder area, i.e., $20 delivery fee for a half share, $40 delivery fee for a full share, $60 for 1.5 shares, $80 for 2 shares, etc. Currently we have four drop-off locations on the Front Range: 

      • Baseline Rd & Courtesy Rd, Lafayette

      • W 32nd Ave & Wadsworth Blvd, Wheat Ridge

      • W Coal Mine Ave & S Pierce St, Columbine/Littleton

      • E Hampden Ave & S Chambers Rd, Aurora

    • For a monthly $13 fee per half share, we can deliver to downtown Frisco for our shareholders in areas near Summit County, i.e., $13 delivery fee for a half share, $26 delivery fee for a full share, $39 for 1.5 shares, $52 for 2 shares, etc.

• Monthly boarding fees and delivery fees will be waived for the hosts of the drop-off locations. Let us know if you are interested in becoming a host as a shareholder. We will supply the fridge

• Once you sign up for our mailing list through the red link above, we will contact you to sign the Dairy Herd Bill of Sale and Boarding Contract and set up the one-time and the recurring payments

• Referral program: If new shareholders mention your name when they sign up for the mailing list, you get a $5 discount off your monthly boarding fee for every new shareholder signup as long as they remain as shareholders. The lowest your monthly boarding fees can go is $5
